An 11-year-old New Jersey boy is the sole survivor of a crash that killed his parents and sister in Virginia.
Virginia State Police say that the crash happened Thursday afternoon along Route 340 in Page County.
According to authorities, Gurmeet Singh, 44, Jasleen Kaur, 38, and their 6-year-old daughter were all pronounced dead at the scene. Only the son survived, but he is in the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the driver of a 2008 Ford F-250 lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center line and collided head-on into the Carteret family's a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan.
A GoFundMe fundraiser for the son has raised more than $220,000.
