Environmental officials continue to warn people to stay out of Lake Hopatcong due to an algae bloom Saturday.
Signs were seen posted around the lake indicating that people cannot swim in the water.
Officials say the algae, which turns the water green, can cause nausea, vomiting, skin irritation and rashes.
Families were seen enjoying the beach without going into the water.
Officials say they hope the algae will clear up by July 4, but it can last days or even weeks because of buildup of bacteria is pronounced.
