Cybersecurity experts and political analysts are raising concerns about "deepfakes," doctored videos so sophisticated most people can't tell them from the real thing.
In a companion podcast to his investigation, Walt explores the trend of creating deepfake videos for public consumption. 
Walt sits down with Adam Levin, a cybersecurity expert with the company CyberScout, to talk about the technology behind the videos. They discuss the the way these manipulated videos are being perfected just before the upcoming presidential elections. 
And Patrick Murray from the Monmouth University Polling Institute discusses the potential ethical issues and how this practice may be betraying the public trust.
