Police say there have still not been any arrests in a recent case of animal cruelty that left an innocent dog dead.
The body of a dog, apparently beaten to death and set on fire, was found in Newark near Columbia Avenue and Plymouth Street.

Police say a group of young people were knocking over garbage cans and damaging cars in the area at around 3 a.m. Friday and may have been involved.
