A study by a Texas university looked at which states in the United States are the most psychopathic.
The study by Southern Methodist University professor Ryan Murphy found that New Jersey ranks No. 3 in the U.S. as the most psychopathic state.
Murphy says that the study “constructs a cross-section of the ‘Big Five’ personality traits and demonstrates their relationship with outcomes variables for the continental United States… When these two findings are combined, a state-level estimate of psychopathy is produced.”
Connecticut was found to be the No. 1 state, followed by California.
The lease psychopathic states were Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia, according to the study.
