  • High Wind Watch has been issued for 9 p.m. Wednesday - 8 a.m. Thursday
  • Storm Watch for the Long Island Sound from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Thursday - Storm force winds in the Long Island Sound could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigation conditions.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny, winds will become breezy by the afternoon and gusty at night. Damaging wind gusts up to 55 mph are possible with sustained winds of 25-30 mph likely close to midnight into early Thursday morning. Highs near 60 degrees. Lows in the low 40s.
THURSDAY: Windy in the morning, sun and clouds mixing, much cooler. Winds will weaken by the afternoon but remain breezy. Highs in the low 50s. Lows in the mid-40s.
FRIDAY: Not as chilly, with sunshine early in the day. Clouds will build in the evening, with rain showers likely after midnight. Highs in the upper 50s. Lows in the low 50s.
SATURDAY: Rain showers early in the day, and breezy to start. Rain will end by the afternoon, clearing skies, and mild. Highs in the low 60s. Lows in the low 40s.
