WHAT'S NEW: Hit and miss spotty showers and storms for Saturday. Not a washout and we will have dry periods of outdoor events. More sunshine and cooler for Sunday.
WHAT'S NEXT: Fog with sunny breaks with a spotty shower today. Most of the day is dry.
TODAY: Areas of fog this morning. An isolated shower possible through the day. Clouds with sunny breaks during the day. High near 72. Northern Nassau County highs 72-77. South shore and East End highs 67 to 72. South wind 5 to 15 mph.
TONIGHT: STORM WATCH: Cloudy with Showers and chance for thunderstorms. Areas of fog. Low around 57. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Best chance of storms will be 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Saturday: STORM WATCH: Cloudy with spotty showers and a thunderstorm before 10 a.m. A little midday break with sunny spots and a chance of a shower. After 2 p.m., spotty showers and chance of thunderstorms through the evening. The day is not a washout and there will be dry periods through the day. High near 72. Southwest wind going West-Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunday: Sun and Clouds, breezy. Highs 67 to 72.
