Temperatures, on average, are 20 to 25 degrees cooler today than they were yesterday. There was plenty of sun, but the wind from the northwest brought us back to reality.
Winds change direction late tonight, coming in off the ocean. This flow will keep the temperatures raw for Wednesday and also increase the moisture content in the atmosphere. The end result is clouds and a lot of them!
A pesky, near-stationary boundary will waffle through New Jersey over the next few days. As it undulates north and south, clouds and passing showers will move along it. Not every day is a washout, but after tomorrow, there will be an opportunity for on-and-off showers from Wednesday night through early next Tuesday morning.
There will be fleeting moments of sunshine, but that, as I mentioned, will be at a premium.
