- A coastal flood watch along the shore for Tuesday. High tide 1 to 2 feet above normal.
- Coastal flood advisory for Camden and Burlington counties along the Delaware River due to river tidal flooding.
- A winter storm warning is in effect for Sussex. Alerts also posted for Hunterdon, Warren, western Passaic, Morris and parts of Bergen County.
- Storm starts off as plain rain Monday night after 8 p.m.
- Wintry mix in areas under winter storm alerts develops overnight with all snow by the AM commute there.
- Elsewhere, expect a brief burst of wet snow. Accumulations vary, but visibility will be reduced during the morning rush Tuesday.
- Dry by Tuesday afternoon.
TONIGHT: Unseasonably mild, mix of clouds. Lows in the mid-30s.
MONDAY: Mild with mostly cloudy skies. Highs in upper 40s. Light wind.
MONDAY NIGHT: Rain develops after 8 p.m., then snow starts to mix in overnight. Accumulations expected north and west. Temperatures in the low 30s.
TUESDAY: Snow and wintry mix likely. Breezy with winds sustained at 20 mph and gusts over 30 on the coast. Watch for coastal flooding. Dry in the afternoon. Highs in the mid-30s.
WEDNESDAY: VALENTINES DAY. Dry and seasonably cool. Highs in the 30s, lows in the 20s.
