Three things to know:
A rush of Arctic air moved in recently, making the temperatures trend towards dangerously cold levels. The air will continue to feel extremely cold in both the mornings and the afternoons. It is in the mornings though, especially before sunrise, where temps could feel sub-zero. Bundle up when going out and about, with multiple layers and cover those exposed portions of your body. Such as your hands and head.
There is a chance for some snow showers this afternoon, between about 2-5 p.m. Visibility may briefly be reduced but for many, expect flurries and breezy winds.
We do not need anymore snow, after all we got this past weekend. But another snowstorm may come by Sunday, giving the region potentially more. There are a lot of variables that are unknown with this system, but with more model data in time, we'll have a better idea of what could be coming our way.
