Sunshine gives way to increasing clouds that thicken throughout today. Highs today reach the mid-70s with an overcast settling in overnight.
A batch of rain arrives to New Jersey through Wednesday late morning and moves through for the mid-afternoon and evening.
Most of the rain stays across southern New jersey with steady light rain expected in central areas south and along I-78. Rain is broken and more scattered in northern areas for Wednesday. Temperatures will be int he upper 60s on Wednesday. It remains unsettled with sprinkles into Thursday under a mostly cloudy sky. Temperatures will continue to be mild, in the 70s.
Friday's weather is rainy again, but just the nuisance rain which just causes annoying and slightly interrupted travel. The last batch of rain showers lingers into Saturday before improving into early next week.
A pattern change is looking probable for next week with an area of fair weather setting up off the east coast, which would force warmth and humidity into New jersey that drives temperatures to feel more like summer by next weekend.
