FORECAST:
It remains mostly cloudy today with ending morning showers. The afternoon will feature filtered sunshine but still a generally cloudy sky. The small breaks of sun are nice and the temperatures will be pleasant in the lower-70s.
The humidity rises slowly into tomorrow. There will be a rogue shower or thunderstorm overnight into Friday morning, creating a damp situation in some parts of the area.
It will wrap up rather quickly to a sky with more sun than today. There will still be many clouds, though, so let's describe this as partly sunny. Highs on Friday will be closer to 80, probably topping off in the upper-70s. A round of rain arrives very late, near 9 p.m. and continues into Saturday morning ending by 8 a.m.
A small midday break gives the atmosphere enough time to reset and recharge for new storms after 3 p.m.
Storms wrap up near sunset on Saturday, giving way for a breezy but fair Sunday.
