A wave of low pressure off of the Maryland coast will spiral off our New Jersey beaches, wrapping the state in a rainy blanket. Only localized flooding concerns in extremely low-lying areas could be a problem. The showers will show signs of tapering closer to daybreak on Thursday morning.
Thursday will be overcast with moments of sunshine. Temperatures will respond to the sun and quickly climb to the mid-70s. Some neighborhoods could potentially be a little warmer. More overcast conditions prevail Thursday night and another system will drop through from the Plains by late Friday.

Sunday looks fantastic. Next week looks warm. Will we see our first 90-degree day? We haven't had one yet for 2025. Last year, our first 90-degree day was on May 2. The earliest we've hit 90 was April 12, 1977. The latest was July 31, 2008.
Typically, our first 90 falls sometime around now. Let's see how this pattern evolves.
