A slow-moving batch of rain collects over New Jersey for Wednesday through Friday dropping 2-3 inches of rain across the state.
Primary hazards will be for localized flooding and difficult/delayed travel. Wind isn't a huge threat, but it will be breezy from the east-southeast at 10-15 mph at times.
The rain will be nasty through Wednesday late morning and early afternoon with persistent light rain continuing into the night before turning heavy again into Thursday.
Thursday morning's commute will be worse than Wednesday's commute with localized flooding and moderate downpours. The rain is seemingly endless on Thursday as it will be another washout.
Friday's weather features a reprieve with more broken/scattered rain and possibly a break of sun or two.
Temperatures over the next few days will be cool/clammy with highs struggling to get to 60 degrees as it remains in the mid-50s.
Clouds begin Saturday but part into the late morning, featuring sunshine and great weather for the weekend.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are good days with warm sun and mild temperatures that are not overwhelming.
