Light snow falls across New Jersey this morning from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Snow should accumulate up to 1" or less in most places. There could be up to 2" of snow in the hills north and northwest by the end. Treated surfaces should be fine, but untreated surfaces are subject to ice. This is particularly an issue south of exit 7A on NJT and south of exit 74 on the GSP where 0.01" of ice can accumulate. This is enough to cause someone to slip and fall.
The sun emerges for the afternoon and the rest of the day should be good with highs in the mid-30s. Tonight's lows sink to the upper 20s across New Jersey, and it will be great again tomorrow with a mostly sunny sky. Evening conditions will be cold with temperatures in the low-30s.
The rest of the week's weather is quiet with a mostly sunny sky and temperatures moderating closer to normal, which is in the lower to mid 40s through the weekend. The next chance for showers will be on Sunday and Monday.
