Tomorrow will be a repeat of today, except the weather could be a little more rambunctious.
Temperatures will be much warmer and feel even hotter with the atmospheric moisture smothering the region. Street flooding and possibly small streams and rivers might experience some flooding with the amount of rain that has and could fall.
The primary threat with these storms will be damaging winds. Some of the stronger storms could produce winds in excess of 70 mph. It's also possible that a small tornado could spin up. I highly doubt this scenario pans out, but the situation will need to be watched.
The next weather situation that needs to be monitored will be building heat. This will be New Jersey’s first opportunity at prolonged heat and humidity. Not only is it possible for our first official heat wave, but it's also possible that one or maybe two of those days could reach triple digits.
On top of the heat, humid air will continue to suffocate the region. Heat indices could get as high as 110 degrees or more.
