FORECAST:
Milder days are ahead for Western Connecticut this week. A few more snow showers or flurries may move through the area tonight, but it won't amount to much. The sky will remain cloudy in the meantime with a bigger warm up on the way.
There is a chance to see some sprinkles and rain showers later tomorrow. There is a slight risk up north to see light freezing rain, as temperatures in the Litchfield hills will be cooler than other areas around Western Connecticut.
Temperatures will be in the upper 20s tonight then rise above freezing tomorrow.
Highs will climb into the 40s to near 50 degrees by Friday and Saturday. More rain is expected during that time. Cooler temperatures will settle back in by the close of the weekend.
