Above average readings will continue through Wednesday as all the cold air is banked up in Canada. Skies will be bright today with more clouds Wednesday. Low pressure will develop over the area Wednesday night and Thursday morning. This is our first chance of significant rain in a couple of months. Around an inch of rain is expected. Much colder air will move in from the north Thursday night and Friday. Wet snow may fly at this time, especially over the hills of northwestern New Jersey.
