Stop & Shop donates millions to local food banks
Stop & Shop says its goal is to fight hunger across the region.

Stop & Shop donated almost $2.5 million to eight Feeding America Food Banks across New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
In the Garden State, more than $120,000 of that money will go toward combating food insecurity across Monmouth and Ocean counties. According to Feeding America, over 8% of the population in the two counties experience food insecurity.
The company says its goal is to fight hunger across the region.
