A 17-year-old boy was killed when a 650-pound stone slab fell on him outside of a Berkeley Township business that makes countertops.
According to officials, the teen was found Saturday morning at Stone N' Counters South.
The teen, who has not been identified, was was pronounced dead at the scene.
The business was closed when the accident occurred. It's unclear why the teen was there.
Investigators say it appears the teen was trying to walk between marble and granite slabs when one fell on top of him. A passing motorist spotted him and called police, but it's unclear how long the teen was there.
