State police say a state trooper was taken to the hospital following a crash with a dump truck on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The crash happened Monday morning in the southbound inner roadway/car lanes near mile marker 70 in Cranbury, just south of the Molly Pitcher Service Area.

According to state police, the trooper was transported to a hospital has non-life-threatening injuries.
