In the wake of the Paris terror attacks, state police increased security at MetLife Stadium, where the Giants hosted the New England Patriots Sunday.
The NFL and state police promised extra security at the game to protect the crowd of 82,000 inside and out.
Troopers were stationed around the stadium with canine units and choppers are in the air.
Despite the additional police and the attacks overseas, many fans told News 12 they feel safe.
One of the reasons for the increased security is because in France two of the suicide bombers were outside of a soccer stadium during a match. Fans in New Jersey are aware of that, but many said they just have to live their lives.
