The state health department has updated its isolation and quarantine guidelines for K-thru-12 students, and the new recommendations mirror the CDC's.
STATE OF OUR SCHOOLS: Back-to-school resources
Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 should isolate for five days.
Students without symptoms, or with improving symptoms, can return after that.
SEARCH FOR A CURE: Statistics and State Resources
Students deemed close-contacts should quarantine for five days, at which time they should get tested again before returning to school.
