Many parents in Jersey City are coming to grips Tuesday with the fact that their children's school will be closing. On Monday, the Archdiocese of Newark told St. Aedan School officials that due to cutbacks the school would have to close. Parents say they were upset when they learned the school, which has been part of the community for 93 years, would be closing at the end of this school year. The archdiocese announced that students would be able to go to the nearby Visitation School, which is located on Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City.
