A spunky 88-year-old Kenilworth man got out of his motorized wheelchair Sunday to fight off four attempted burglars.
Bill Scicione says a woman entered his home Sunday under the guise she was with a church near his home. He talked with her briefly and then spotted two men carrying a safe out of his home.
"I ran out like a devil ready to fight," says Scicione.
Scicione confronted the suspects in his front yard. They dropped the safe after a scuffle and ran.
Police were called and are investigating.
