While both Gov. Jon Corzine and Republican Chris Christie try to spin results of Thursday's debate, Independent Chris Dagget may have actually gotten some of the best lines in.
Christie continuously hit Corzine on the subject of New Jersey taxes. Corzine time and time again retorted Christie has no economic plan.
The openings gave Daggett the opportunity to knock the governor's record while agreeing with Corzine that Christie has no plan. When the two major party candidates turned to personal slams, Daggett was yet again given the opportunity to take the upper hand.
"Isn't it appropriate that I'm in the middle of these two guys?" asked Daggett. "Let's talk about the issues in this campaign, the issues that matter to the state of New Jersey."
Next up are the first ever lieutenant governor debates hosted by News 12 New Jersey.
