(04/06/06) WALL ? Police investigators are shaking their heads in disbelief over the actions of an accused drive-in restaurant robber.
According to police, surveillance video shows Wall resident Nicholas Menke breaking into the Circus Drive-In Restaurant in search of cash. After smashing the empty cash register, police say Menke actually spent an hour and a half in the restaurant destroying everything in sight. In the end, police say the only cash available for Menke to steal was in a collection box for children with cancer.
Investigators say they later tracked down and apprehended Menke. Circus Restaurant owner Dave Kayal says the robber is one of the dumbest criminals in history.
