A South Plainfield High School teacher is accused of sending inappropriate photos of herself to a male student via social media.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office charged Mallory Christ, 29, with endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly sending two photos of herself to the student in February.
Authorities say that the investigation began after school officials learned about the photos, which were apparently posted on social media.
Christ taught math at the high school and also was the cheerleading coach.
She is being held without bail at the Middlesex County Jail.
