It was another difficult night for some residents in Essex County who lost power, including South Orange, as well as another difficult day for those working in the unbearable heat.
While employees of Marco Gardening battle the sun, others are prepared for heat waves by owning generators.
On Tillou Road, one was running out in front of a home, and over on Great Hills Drive, more generators were helping people who lost power overnight.
As of Wednesday evening, about 134 people were still without power. PSE&G says that an estimated time for restoration would be around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
