South Jersey shops work to clear snow to stay open for business

Some South Jersey businesses worked hard on Monday to make sure they could stay open for customers who braved the snowstorm.

Some South Jersey businesses worked hard on Monday to make sure they could stay open for customers who braved the snowstorm.
News 12’s Lauren Due went to Long Beach Island, where shop owners used salt and shovels to clear the snow.
Dan Malay, the owner of the coffee shop How You Brewin, says he served many people who had to be on the roads for their jobs.
"We just wanted to give it a try, and there's a lot of folks that obviously have to be out here regardless. Like the cops, plowers and even the UPS guy,” he says.
