A Somerset County coffee shop and music café will be closing after nearly eight years in business.
“The vibe as soon as you come in is very comfortable, it’s like your living room,” says co-owner Peter Prasa.
But Peter and his wife Susan Prasa say that all good things must come to an end and have decided to close the shop.
“We are too old to be working this hard and making no money,” says Susan Prasa.
Long-time customers tell News 12 New Jersey that they are struggling to say goodbye to the beloved venue. They say that the Dragonfly is not just about coffee. The shop also holds open mic nights every week.
“Live music five days a week,” Susan Prasa says.
The owners say that they will be sad to leave Somerville.
"It’s like a family community and we don't regret a day that we worked here, that we opened up to the public,” Susan Prasa says.
Dragonfly Music and Coffee closes Sept. 15.
