There was something brewing on the Hudson River this weekend – hundreds of witches swapped broomsticks for paddleboards at Sleepy Hollow’s sixth annual SUP Witches Paddleboard Festival.

The event combined humor, Halloween and women’s empowerment.

This annual event is organized and led by Tara Scheller, owner of Rivertowns SUP & Yoga in Sleepy Hollow. Her mission is to build community through supportive and fun experiences that help people feel stronger, empowered, and inspired.

From seasoned boarders to first-timers, each witch rode the Hudson’s choppy waters with confidence — proving that magic happens when women paddle side by side.
