‘Shot and a Beer.’ New Jersey launches new vaccine incentive program
Demand for the COVID-19 vaccine has been slowing down, with only about 22,000 first shots given out on Saturday and Sunday.
State officials are hoping that more people will go out to get the vaccine in May. They have created the “A Shot and a Beer” initiative to help.
Anyone who is 21 years old or older who gets their first dose of the vaccine in May can bring their vaccine card to one of 13 participating breweries and get a free beer. The breweries are located across the Garden State.
