Last-minute shoppers flocked to Menlo Park Mall in Edison Saturday.
Shoppers say the toughest part about coming to the mall the day before Christmas Eve was parking. They say once inside the mall, it was easier to get around despite the waves of people.
People were also able to score some deals as stores were holding holiday sales.
Most shoppers told News 12 that they had fun shopping despite the tight deadline.
The mall was staying open until 10:30 p.m. Saturday, and was set to reopen at 8 a.m. Christmas Eve.
