Shelton mayor: Subway is moving headquarters to city; sandwich giant not commenting

Sandwich giant Subway isn’t commenting on rumors that the company will move its headquarters from Milford to Shelton.
Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti confirmed to News 12 Connecticut that Subway reached out to him last week to say it was moving to his city.
The mayor declined to say where exactly in Shelton the new headquarters would be located.
Subway moved to its current site off of I-95 at Exit 35 in the mid-2000's, shortly after the BIC corporation pulled out and also went to Shelton.
