Officials are checking reports of apossible tornado in South Brunswick. Severe thunderstorms blew through the Middlesex County communitySunday. Witnesses reported the wind snapped trees and littered GeorgesRoad and Route 522 with debris.Up to 5,000 people lost power due to the storm. There have been no reports of any injuries.
