New Jersey Transit says that service on two of its rail lines will remain suspended for the rest of Friday due to weather issues.
Service on the Gladstone Branch and North Jersey Coast lines was suspended Thursday during a major snowstorm due to some storm damage around the tracks and downed overhead wires.
All other NJ Transit lines are running, but the agency says to expect residual delays.
NJ Transit says that service on the North Jersey Coast line should resume by Saturday. Service on the Gladstone Branch line may not resume until Monday. Replacement bus services will resume Saturday.
Cross-honoring is in effect systemwide, along with private bus carriers.
