A second arrest has been made in connection to the death of a 4-year-old in Somerset County.
Authorities say the child's mother is now custody after the father was arrested last week.
Last February, police found the child's body in a hotel room.
The father told authorities that the 4-year-old boy fell off of a toilet and hit his head on an AC unit two days prior.
He said he iced the injury before going to bed and when he woke up, he learned from the child's mother, that the child was unresponsive, so he called 911.
Medical examiners discovered later that the boy had sustained multiple injuries.
Both parents, Chamyr Harris, from Linden, and Sean Tate, from Woodbridge, have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Both were arrested in Woodbridge and are being housed at the Somerset County Jail.
