New Jersey’s biggest festival is back on the boardwalk in Asbury Park this weekend.
From music festival veterans to out-of-state first-timers, the headliners of Sea.Hear.Now brought tens of thousands back to the boardwalk on Saturday.
“It’s safe, it’s clean, the local food inside is really awesome,” said one attendee.
Saturday’s slate, headlined by Noah Kahan, also saw some love from fans for The Black Crowes, Grace Potter and 311. But all anyone was talking about for Sunday was Bruce Springsteen’s return to Asbury Park.
“I'm here, parked for two days, waiting for Bruce,” said attendee Bernice, of Tinton Falls.
Another drove overnight from Michigan while listening to "The Boss’s" biography on the way.
“He hasn't performed in over 20 years at a paying event in Asbury,” said Brianna, of Jersey City. “I feel like everyone's going to go crazy.”
But Sea.Hear.Now is more than New Jersey’s music festival. It’s a celebration of summer down the Shore, including local art and surf culture.
Sea.Hear.Now continues Sunday with more surf contests and performances.
