Sea Girt is using goats instead of manpower or chemicals to remove unwanted invasive plant life.
Officials in Sea Girt launched a pilot program this summer where goats were brought in to eat and help maintain a healthy balance of indigenous plant life in an area known as The Terrace.
Although it costs a bit more than manpower or chemicals, the goats helped properly maintain the area in an environmentally beneficial way.
Officials will decide if they'll bring them back next summer.
