Rutgers star football player Leonte Carroo is back on the team and is eligible to play Saturday night when the Scarlet Knights host Michigan State.
The school made the announcement this afternoon. Carroo was previously suspended indefinitely for being charged with assault.
A judge dropped the assault charges against Carroo Tuesday.
He was accused of attacking his former girlfriend after a football game last month and slamming her onto concrete. The woman received injuries on her hip, hands, elbow and head.
The alleged victim was in court, but declined to testify. She also agreed to drop a request for a restraining order.
The judge lectured Carroo on domestic violence. Carroo now must attend anger management classes.
