Former Roxbury clothing store owner sentenced to jail for filming employees in bathroom

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office says 36-year-old Nicholas Zirpoli, of Lincoln Park, used a device to record juvenile and adult workers using the restroom inside the business.

The former owner of Plato’s Closet in Roxbury has been sentenced to a year in jail for filming his employees in the bathroom.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office says 36-year-old Nicholas Zirpoli, of Lincoln Park, used a device to record juvenile and adult workers using the restroom inside the business.

Authorities say 11 people were victimized between late 2022 and early 2023.

Zirpoli pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy and child pornography charges on May 13.
