Prosecutors: Plato's Closet owner in Roxbury faces charges for recording employees in bathroom

Prosecutors say Nicholas Zirpoli, the owner and operator of Plato's Closet store in the township, video recorded several male and female employees using the restroom at his store.

The owner of a clothing retail store in Roxbury Township was charged with recording his employees using the bathroom, according to Morris county prosecutors.
Officials say Nicholas Zirpoli, 35, the owner and operator of Plato's Closet store in the township, video recorded several male and female employees using the restroom at his store on or about Feb. 26. They say Zirpoli then destroyed the evidence.
Zirpoli, of Lincoln Park, was held at the Morris County Correctional Facility upon his arrest pending a first court appearance. He was released on pre-trial monitoring conditions on Dec. 13, in accordance with the Criminal Justice Reform Act, prosecutors say.
Zirpoli was charged with nine counts of invasion of privacy and tampering with evidence.
