(AP) - GOP presidential candidates chasing thetwo-for-two Mitt Romney are regrouping in South Carolina.
A rougher tone and a more difficult ideological terrain awaitthe former Massachusetts governor, who has designs on sealing upthe Republican party's nomination early.
Romney posted a double-digit win Tuesday night in New Hampshireafter a squeaker the week before in Iowa. But South Carolina, wheretea party and religious conservatives now dominate, presents a newset of challenges.
Romney, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, ex-Pennsylvania Sen.Rick Santorum, Texas Rep. Ron Paul and former Utah Gov. JonHuntsman all have events planned Wednesday in the first Southernprimary state.
They'll join Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who has been in SouthCarolina since Saturday.
