A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information on a fatal street shooting in Union County.
Prosecutors say Plainfield police responding to reports of shots fired found David Perez around 4:10 p.m. Sunday in the area of West Fourth Street and Monroe Avenue. The 19-year-old city resident was taken to a hospital but died there a short time later.
No other injuries were reported. A motive for the shooting remains under investigation, and further details on the incident have not been released.
Union County Crime Stoppers is offering the reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
