Residents have been allowed to return to their homes today following a partial road collapse in South Amboy.
Three homes were evacuated following a partial road collapse Tuesday on the 300-block of Gordon Street.
The collapse sent a Kia Soul and a fire hydrant down in the ravine more than 20 feet below.
No one was injured. Police say they believe the collapse was caused by a water main break.
