Hundreds of residents in Ocean County spent Saturday cleaning up debris and downed trees after harsh storms Friday.
Members of the Truedsson family in Bayville say two trees fell on their property, crashing into their home and destroying the windshield of one car. The Toms River family says the storm looked to them like a tornado.
According to the mayor of Berkeley Township, one man was injured when he fell from a ladder trying to remove tree branches from his roof. He was treated at the hospital and released.
The National Weather Service has not yet classified the storm as a tornado.
