New Jersey State Police Marine Troopers rescued a man who was drifting in Barnegat Bay.
The incident happened Wednesday around 11 p.m.
According to officials, rescuers plucked him out of a boat after the man's father told police he didn't return home.
Officials say the engine on the man's boat failed and it started to take on water.
He was not injured.
