New Jersey had the second highest credit card debt among all states in the U.S., according to a report by consumer credit reporting company Experian.
Credit card debt reached $6,881 so far this year in New Jersey.
Overall credit card debt in the U.S. hit $807 billion in the first quarter of 2019. Credit card debt is up 29% over the last five years.
