The property where 188 dogs were found living in squalor earlier this week in Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County is owned by a former Westminster Dog Show winner, according to a report.
The New York Times says the property is owned by business partners Marcia Knoster and Martin Strozenski.
Knoster's Parson Russel Terrier took the "Best in Breed" title at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show back in 2009.
Officials said the animals seemed to have had limited human contact and minimal to no veterinary care.
Many of the dogs were pregnant and/or had "masses and infections."
About 20 deceased dogs were also found inside the home.
The dogs seized on the property were mostly a mix of Russell terriers.
About two-dozen of them went to the Monmouth SPCA, while the rest went to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison.
